WATERBURY – John A. Vassallo, age 89, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his spouse and children, on Friday, July 30, 2021. He was the loving husband of Mary Christine “Tina” Vassallo.
Born on Dec. 20, 1931, in Waterbury, John was the son of the late John A. and Anna (Colucci) Vassallo. He was a graduate of Crosby Substantial University, acquired a bachelor’s diploma from the College of Connecticut, and many master’s levels from Central Connecticut State College. He was a receiver of many scholarships to review Spanish. John examined at the University of Minnesota as properly as in Quito, Ecuador. He was a happy U.S. Army veteran, possessing been drafted following commencing his educating vocation in Waterbury. He also leaves his cousins, John Colucci, Michael Colucci and Peter Colucci all of Waterbury, Marie Orsini Rosen and her partner, Philip of Stamford and their little ones, Jessica Rosen of Venice, Calif. and Matthew Rosen of New Orleans, La., Antoinette Laccone and Margaret Laccone of Whitestone, N.Y., Gabriella Valenti and her daughters, Claudia Mura and Alessandra Mura of Varese, Italy, as nicely as his expensive mate and travel companion, Charlotte A. Renna of Waterbury, his former artwork pupil, Miguel Terminate of Waterbury and former trade scholar from Brazil (now of Toronto, CA), Guilherme Dickie. John was predeceased by his brother, Domenic Vassallo, his beloved cousin Angeline (DeCosmo) Orsini, and his cousin, Franco Mura.
